Progressive Muscle Relaxation to Improve Sleep and Reduce Anxiety and Stress.

Relaxation is an important strategy in learning how to manage stress and anxiety more effectively. It can also improve sleep. Many adults struggle to relax and let go of tension. Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) is a way to gain a deeply relaxed state. If you practise PMR at bedtime, it can also assist with improved sleep.

The attached track by Mal Huxter is very good and is the one I use with my clients in session.

Don’t forget there are lots of ways of relaxing, this is just one of those ways. Like all new skills you need to practise, practise, practise.
