Mindfulness Exercises

Mindfulness of sound

As a follow on from my blog two weeks ago, here is a mindfulness exercise as promised. Basically if it can be done, it can be done mindfully.

A good place to start is the basics such as mindful eating, mindful listening of sounds or breathing.

It’s not necessary to use all your senses (sight, hearing, taste, touch, and feel) immediately. Some people prefer to start using only one sense. For example; many of my clients will say that using sounds is the easiest place to start. Then when you feel comfortable with this you can start to introduce the other senses.

So to start us off, please take time to listen to Mal Huxter’s track focussing on Sound.
